I have always wanted to go to the most remote and wild places, experience real nature. I can totally understand what drives people like Chris McCandless whose story has been portrayed in the movie Into the Wild. And I really love winter. So when my boss asked me if I would like to spend a week in woods with my team and work together on some stuff, my answer has been “YES!”.
I continue to learn local traffic and roads. I am no longer amazed by elder ladies driving huge pick-up trucks, no longer turn my head when I see Lamborghini. But still some situations make me raise my eyebrows.
The next day was totally opposite. In New York is was a rush to see as much as we could in a single day. The next day, we took it slow. Instead of crazy pace in NY, it was a slow cruising down a highway. In a Cadillac!
I woke up super excited. I was going to see the city that millions dream about. Many consider New York as a center of our world. Is it definitely the biggest business, financial and cultural center of North America. Thousands of movies shot there, books and songs written about it, documentaries shot. No surprise everyone knows what New York is. New York hosts some of world’s biggest banks and financial institutions, corporation headquarters. This city smells power and money. I was always wondering what is it like in real world?
What is your favorite place to see sunrise? In a warm bed? On top of a mountain? I love to see a sunrise behind the wheel, on a road.
