66. Lighthouse Park in Vancouver.

I keep exploring Vancouver area. Autumn is very rainy in Vancouver, a sunny day on a weekend is a treasure that has to be used wisely!

On my first weekend in Vancouver, I did not really know where to go, I just opened a map and put a finger on an interesting place. As you may know, I love lighthouses, so I could not have missed a place called “Lighthouse Park”! Oftentimes, the most beautiful things happen when you don’t plan them, you discover amazing places just by randomly visiting them. It was absolutely the case this time!

The park got its name from the Point Atkinson Lighthouse, located at the southern tip of the peninsula. It has a very rugged terrain that was never touched by humans, there are some trees in the park that are over 500 years old!

Hiking there is a must!
