84. A perfect place to admire ocean in Vancouver (with a great view).

Vancouver have been blessed with geographical location. It is a Canada’s gateway to Pacific, with business and trade flowing through it. But for a regular citizen, what is more important, probably, is that the location is just incredibly beautiful, with so many places to go and things to see. Beaches, mountains, forests, waterfalls, lakes – almost anything you can wish for is just a short drive from the city.

I grew up on shores of Black Sea, the smell of salty sea water, the sound of crushing waves, feeling a light sea breeze is something that got deep into my DNA. I am really happy that Vancouver offers so many great places to enjoy the ocean.

One of my favorite places is a chain of beaches in Vancouver’s Kitsilano – West Point Grey neighborhoods. It is a great place to walk or cycle or do anything you want, that allows to enjoy beautiful ocean scenery with spectacular mountains in the background.

…or this!

To me it feels like a perfect place to enjoy ocean just outside of downtown. And it has a free parking!
