I really like unusual places and unordinary museums. I have visited several such places already (ex-ICBM base that is now a museum tops the list), and I was glad to discover very unusual museum here in BC.
During my last trip to Ottawa we had a couple of hours to spare and I decided to take a look at Canadian Museum of Nature. I love museums in Canada, what can I say…
I think that everyone knows about the horrible tragedy of Titanic. Of course it was not the worst maritime disaster in history, but possibly, the most well-known.
But it is not widely known that Canada has suffered a maritime disaster of a scale similar to Titanic.
I think that museum are quite boring to cover when writing about traveling. But there are some of them that really deserve attention.
One such museum is Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax. Canada is a country built by immigrants, this museum is about people, and consequently, about Canada. I was very curious to see what it looks like and what can I learn there.
If you have ever traveled north on Autoroute 15 in Laval, you couldn’t have missed a huge rocket with NASA logo in it. Ever since I have seen it on my first week in Montreal I wanted to find out more what is there. There is Montreal’s Cosmodome. It is the only museum in Canada dedicated solely to space exploration.
