This was supposed to be a very special trip for me. First, I have been dreaming about traveling North for many years. Second, I took my vacation during my dad’s visit. I have not seen him since I moved to Canada two years ago. Is there a better way to spend time with your dad, who is just as passionate about traveling by car as me, than taking a two-week trip together to some of the world’s most amazing places?
Vancouver has unique mix of cultures from around the world. You can easily experience Europe, Asia, America, anything. Today I wanted to immerse into something new. I have never been to Japan, but Vancouver allows to experience a tiny bit of it, but what a bit it is!
The spring is coming closer and closer. And it means that hiking season is not that far away now! Just about the right time to start getting into shape and start getting a taste of beauties in Beautiful British Columbia.
Vancouver have been blessed with geographical location. It is a Canada’s gateway to Pacific, with business and trade flowing through it. But for a regular citizen, what is more important, probably, is that the location is just incredibly beautiful, with so many places to go and things to see. This weekend’s road trip brought me to a small resort town of Harrison Hot Springs. Beautiful little town and amazon park on a lake shore. I bet in summer it is ever more awesome!
One of my favourite ways to spend my free time is driving scenic routes. Just drive, no destination, nowhere to hurry, no timetable. Often I find incredible places that get in my memory forever.
When I visited a community of Deep Cove last weekend, I decided to drive up the mt Seymour, and I had an amazing bonus to my trip!
