It has been really busy couple of weeks. I really wanted to get away from city, switch my mind to something different and enjoy a calm day away from everyday worries. And I know a proven way to do it – go to my favourite Mont Tremblant national park!
During my last trip to Ottawa we had a couple of hours to spare and I decided to take a look at Canadian Museum of Nature. I love museums in Canada, what can I say…
I think that everyone knows about the horrible tragedy of Titanic. Of course it was not the worst maritime disaster in history, but possibly, the most well-known.
But it is not widely known that Canada has suffered a maritime disaster of a scale similar to Titanic.
I think that museum are quite boring to cover when writing about traveling. But there are some of them that really deserve attention.
One such museum is Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax. Canada is a country built by immigrants, this museum is about people, and consequently, about Canada. I was very curious to see what it looks like and what can I learn there.
Nova Scotia has so many interesting destinations! It is hard to choose when you have limited time and want to see as much as possible. One of the “must go” destinations in Nova Scotia for me was the south shore. First, I really wanted to see and enjoy the ocean, second, it has some of Canada’s most famous attractions, and last, but not least, I wanted to enjoy driving beautiful roads.
Every May Ottawa becomes a top destination for tourists from all over North America. They all come to see over a million tulips displayed throughout the city.
But do you know why? Where do all these tulips come from and how it started?
Canada has a lot of natural wonders. One of the most amazing among them is the Bay of Fundy. Is it known for having the highest tides in the world.
